Native Coloradoan, Joyce Ablin, graduated with honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 1995, completing over 1000 hours of study. She has been practicing her art for over 25 years and has been Board Certified since 1995. Her quest for health, purpose and harmony led her to study a wide array of body therapies, including Shiatsu, Swedish, Neuromuscular and Integrative bodywork. Her elective studies at Boulder College of Massage Therapy were Polarity energy and chair massage.
Joyce continues to expand her repertoire of healing skills with course work in pre-natal massage, neuromuscular study through St. Johns, learning core techniques and foundation of orthopedic and sports massage. Her involvement in massage therapy support for breast cancer patients includes Healing Touch techniques, and she completed her Reiki Masters course in 2009. Additional studies include Upledger’s CranioSacral and SomatoEmotional Release techniques and Healing Touch Energy Balancing. These are the skills that help Joyce make a difference in the world of healing and balance.
As a healing practitioner, Joyce offers a massage experience based on energy-flow and restoration, helping her clients reconnects with their body and their essence, promoting integration. Her reverence of the human body and the human spirit inspires her to help others discover their own spark of life. “It is that spark of life that connects us to the earth and to one another.
